This is the second novel in the Georgia Coast Cozy Mysteries series, and right off the bat, I knew that I'd love it, even before I read it.
Back at it again are Lois Lavrisa's eccentric characters and I had fun reading about them again, plus a few new cast of characters.
Spoiler alert - Bezu is such a liar! And for what reason?
Anyway, back to the review. My favorite character is probably Annie Mae, but Cat is a close second considering that Annie Mae wasn't mentioned much in this novel. The part of the book that I liked most was the part when Xavier moved into Bezu's old house.
The mystery in this one was more complex than the first case and I did happen to favor this one over the first one in the series.
Rating: ★★★★★ 5/5 Stars!
I'm not going to be eating muffins for a long while.
